Employer and Third-Party Agent Contacts - Unemployment Insurance

The Contributions Division handles several aspects of the unemployment insurance (UI) process for employers, including contribution payments, benefit charges, experience rates, and more. In addition, the Contributions Division monitors the Maryland Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. Employer contributions (also called UI taxes) are deposited into the trust fund, which is used to pay temporary UI benefits to eligible claimants.

Please contact the Employer Call Center between the hours of 8:00 a.m. ET to 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday at 410-949-0033 or toll-free at 1-800-492-5524 if you have questions relating to:
