In the matter of the second race at Timonium Racetrack on August 23, 2025; On November 12, 2025, the Maryland Racing Commission convened to hear the appeal of owner, Robert Dunham. The Commission voted to uphold the Stewards decision in this matter and declared B and C Stable’s “Paisley Singing” the official winner. Therefore, the official order of finish is as follows; Official Order of Finish

  • 2nd Hot Fidge Warrior
The purse monies affected by the dispute are to be released by the Horsemen's Bookkeeper.

Trainer, Jose A. Ramirez is fined Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for not having the colors for “J. Candy”, entered to run in the fourth race at Laurel Park on December 5, 2025, after not having colors on (11/02/2025).

THIS IS A VIOLATION OF: [COMAR 09.10.01.09] which states in part……

“It shall be the sole responsibility of the trainer to see that his or her owner’s colors are in the jockey’s quarters to be used for his or her respective entries, failure to do so, the trainer will be subject to fine”.

Jockey, Xavier Perez is in violation of the HISA riding crop rule #2280 (b)(1). During the running of the sixth race on December 6, 2025, Jockey Perez hit his mount “Tartabull” 9 times which is in violation of the 6-strike rule. On December 7, 2025, a hearing was held to review the race. Stewards issued the following penalty.

(1) Mr. Perez is fined Five hundred ($500.00) dollars.
(2) Mr. Perez is suspended one (1) race day, December 14, 2025.

(1) Mr. Lopez is fined Five hundred ($500.00) dollars.
(2) Mr. Lopez is suspended one (1) race day, December 21, 2025.

In the eighth race at Laurel Park on December 7, 2025, horse #2 “Watch Me Sparkle”, ridden by Apprentice jockey Yedsit Hazlewood was disqualified from first position and placed second. Inside the 1/8th pole, #2 shied and drifted in towards the rail and into the path of #1 “Honor Our Country” ridden by Angel Cruz, forcing him to take up sharply to avoid clipping heels.
